I'm trying to programmatically add a shift to the shift pool / offer it up for grabs. I've tested updating open = true on the shift but it unassigns the employee and doesn't show up in the pool.

I'm trying to pull the log book posts and employee performance logs from the API. We're able to get posts from the log_book_posts endpoint for standard categories ( eg. Shift Notes ), but the same endpoint returns 0 results for the engage_performance_logs category. We're able to see entries in the Manager Log Book in the per-employee view in the application itself, but can't find where these logs can be pulled on a per-employee basis. We've also tried the shift_feedback and engage_overview routes with no luck.

Does the 7shifts API expose the actual submitted value for a 7tasks task completion (Number, Text, or Photo field type) — not just completion status? Specifically: is there a GET endpoint analogous to POST /v2/company/{id}/task_lists/{list_id}/tasks/{task_id}/complete that returns the submitted number/photo URL/text for a completed task, or is that data only visible in the app UI and the CSV report? Also: is there a way to schedule the Tasks Report CSV to generate/email automatically, or is manual download the only option?

Is there an API endpoint to download files like food handlers certificates from employee records?
